A quick post! We have decamped to the mountains (OK, the lumpy hills) of Grundy County, Tennessee, for the summer, but I’m back in town for Father’s Day. OK, and to pile more yarn into the Mom Bomb so that I can keep cranking on my tweedy mitered square blanket, which I’m back into with a vengeance now that I have finished my little sock reverie for the moment.
Look at what just landed in my in box:
Sara! Modeling her Koigu oriental jacket! Which she has finished! Had to show you this, which we saw back in Huntsville at Yarn Expressions. I’m assuming that the back part is also made out of a jillion little Koigu squares, but then again, seems to me that Sara made awfully fast work of this thing. So maybe the back is, like, mattress ticking or old Target shopping bags. Whatever–I find it purely amazing that Sara pulled together these crazy Koigu colors.
At some point I hope you figure out how to hook up your computer and send us a freaking smoke signal. Remember? We have this blog thing?
