Tuesday night’s knitting party (erm, “class”) in Nashville was so dang fun. One sweet moment for me was when Yolanda showed me an album of photos that Liz Thomas had taken of log cabin blankets that Yolanda had made for her three little boys in Kentucky. I begged her to get me a link so I could share them.
Warning: These photos may cause a viewer to cast on a log cabin blanket. Or produce a a darling little boy. Or move to a hill in Kentucky. Any or all of these things will take a good deal of time and effort, but they are more than worthwhile.
Here ya go: log cabins, as you’ve never seen them before. Enjoy!
Thanks so much, Yolanda and Liz.
P.S. The yarn is the now-lamented Peaches & Creme dishcloth cotton, and the pattern is Joseph’s Blankie of Many Colors from our first book, Mason-Dixon Knitting: The Curious Knitters’ Guide.
