Happy blogiversary! Can you believe it was 2003 when we started this blog? Look how much fashion has changed since 2003! And the big news stories were so different!
Off to find my super-retro cargo pants. So vintagey!
xoxo– 4 years– eep! that calls for some champagne !!
Is it very wrong that even now I was’t aware of most of those fashion trends? (I guess it’s a good thing I live in a small city — where I can still wear my cargo pants and sport my monogramed everything!)
Congratulations on 4 years, and best wishes for many more. Also congratulations on finishing the book, I look forward to its release.
Happy Blogiversary- and many more.
Thanks for everything the two of you have contributed to the knitblog community!
Happy Blogiversary!! Are you sure you don’t want to find that retro belly-baring track suit instead? (Heh, yeah, I’d like the belly I had in 2003!)
Congratulations! I’d definitely vote for you for 4 more years over most of the political choices! Knitting rules!
Congratulations!! So glad there’s no term limits on knitting!!
Happy blogiversary! I am new to your show, just this year, but I love you to pieces.
well, I’m glad some things haven’t changed. Like youse guys.
Happy Blogiversary! That was fun to look at. My middle child was born just before y’all started this blog…so those memories were quite a look back for me too.
Happy blogiversary! Congrats on 4 years! Looking forward to many more 🙂
Happy Blogiversary! May you have many many more! Thanks for all you do and for sharing a part of your selfs with us
Happy blogiversary to you…
… and many more!
Do I have to give up my cargo pants? I just bought them! Can I just call them retro or something? I could hang an extra-large mobius from the belt loops.
Happy Bloggy Birthday!
Happy Blogday! Many, many happy returns.
(Just back from a bit of Indiana-Jonesing in your archives….so fun to see the earliest traces of what became MDK 1. But maybe that’s just me, the lapsed medievalist.)
happy days to ann and kay
just found my copy of your article in family
circle that led me here and to all the creative
knitters who dwell in space and time writing
is a mystery is it not and painful
what is she doing in there where do all the words
come from but its nice to be a tad “wierd”
red scarf time early mailings
good times to frick and frack
Happy blogiversary and thanks for the walk down memory lane. I was in the Outer Banks during the Aug power outage and will be going again this year. Haven’t been there since 2003. Hope I’m not bad luck for another one 😉
Glad you’re back online.
Wow, the more things change, the more they stay the same!!
Whoop-Whoop! Happy Bloggiversary!
Yea!! Four years down., and 50 more to go! I ponder if ther will be internet in 50 years. I do know that you two ladies will still be knitting and that thousands of us will be knitting ya’ll patterns!
Love ya, and glad to have you back!
Yippee! Happy Anniversary!! I am so glad to have you back! I’m also glad to hear your new book is done but that I still have time to finish up projects from the first book…I’m a very slow knitter…I need all the time I can get…and reading your blog gives me the encouragement I need!
Deb from Nebraska
Congrats guys!!! Hope you both enjoy stopping to smell the roses after the madness. Looking forward to the book . . . and the blogging (no really that wasn’t a hint, I wouldn’t be that selfish!)
Happy blogiversary! I just joined the party recently so have lots of catching up to do…both reading and knitting!!
Happy Blogiversary! I love how that picture of yarn looks so much like fireworks. 🙂
AHAHAHHHAAAAA. too funny. and sort of sad at the same time. Who cares? Four years of Anne and Kay and their oh-so-unstrict rule over the knitting universe!
Four years, where has it gone? Congrats on keeping us so well entertained for these past years.
Yeah, whatever DID happen to Paris Hilton??? LOL – love the “retro” cargo pants and track suits. Tonight we’re gonna party like it’s 2003!
Well slap my pickets and pour me a sweet tea, time to celebrate y’all. Happy Blogiversary.
ref: julie’s comment: i was certain it was fireworks (sparklers? feux de bengale?) but– it is yarn? nothing to do with bastille day?
Happy Blogiversary! Uhm is that twine?, it really looks like twine.
Tell me that it’s not a bad sign that I looked at that sparkler picture and thought, “Ooooh, pretty mohair!”
Here’s to many more years and more collaborative work.
