Two weeks ago, our friend Karen Templer went to Paris, on a long-anticipated trip.
Her chronicle of days wandering the city with her husband Bob is so marvelous, such a thing to celebrate, that today I simply point you to Karen’s dreamworld of a site, Fringe Association. Karen has been creating a wardrobe of handmade clothes and handknits, so it’s particularly fascinating to hear how her packing worked out in the city where chic was invented. She tells us what she wore, what she saw, and what she ate: “The Paris Review and Wardrobe Travelogue.”
Karen’s trip reminds us all that Paris is a city like no other, a place where love and beauty are celebrated every day. Also: baked goods.
