Isn’t it great to have Kate Atherley around?
I’m a competent enough knitter (I sure do enough of it), but I constantly run into techniques, large and small, that are mysterious or—what can be worse—vague. I need reassurance that the way I’ve always done it actually is a good way to do it. And if it’s not, I need a reliable guide to a better way.
Reading Kate Atherley’s columns (which we call Techniques in Depth because Kate rejected our pitch for Techniques Any Old Way) has made me a better knitter. It has also given me a new place to check for answers when I’m in the weeds. Hey—maybe Kate knows!
