  • Dang! I was just at Knitty City (a fabulous LYS) a week ago, but now I’m out in Ohio with no possibility of making it to this event. Boo hoo πŸ™ Tea and knitting…what a great combo!

  • I visited Sri Lanka in 2006 – tea is produced on PLANTATIONS! It’s grown on mountainsides, sort of like its drinking relative, coffee. And although Sri Lanka is mostly in a tropical clime, the tea plantations are situated at such an altitude that a sweater (perhaps knitted from Summer Tweed???) and a hot cuppa are welcome.

  • Shoot. Book group (non-knitting) that night.

  • Chukkas ! Snort !
The best people drink tea, don’t you know. Mine’s a weal Earl Grey, thanks for asking …

  • Weak. W E A KKKKKK !

The book looks lovely from the preview photo.

  • I am not sure which is looking better, the hunky guy on the cover or the sweater he is wearing. I’ll have sweet dreams tonight!

  • Oh what a fabulous book and equally fabulous get together! It is only rarely that I wish I lived in New York This would be one of those occasions.

  • Oh my god. I’m such a raging anglophile, and I drink tea by the gallon. If there ever was a book seemingly created just for me, this is it.

  • Knitting and tea… perfect companions, in my opinion!

  • Teavana. It’s THE place to see hot guys and find great tea. One of the cutest guys in Nashville clued us into it. And the tea is AMAZING there. Tea that cures headaches and heartaches and sort throats and whatever else ailes you and makes you feel great. There’s as many kinds of tea there as there are shades of Lamb’s Pride Bulky, well almost as many.
I love tea. I love knitting. What a great kind of book. What a swell party. I am tea green with envy.
