  • I officially snorted. While In the bathtub. My husband is concerned.

  • Great way to start Sunday.

  • Well that made me smile. Thanks for sharing .

  • That was great. What a hoot!

  • It’s so good to see Merle again. I had to listen to some of the oldies again with my coffee. A nice refreshing start to the day!

  • That is great! What a guy.

  • Love it, as I love all Merle’s songs! And of course, I’m still awaiting the follow-up to “Pardon Me, I Didn’t Knit That for You”. Such a talented family!

  • I am officially a fan!

  • Oh I love it!!!

  • Tears (of laughter) rolling down my cheeks this morning! More Merle!!!

  • Brilliant. Merle you’re a star

  • BravO!

  • Adorable! Smart and adorable. Funny, smart, and adorable.

  • Oh, just downright excellent.

  • Love it! That’s neat;O))

  • Yeehah! Merle does not disappoint.

  • This is just what I needed today! I sing with the Nashville Symphony Chorus, and we are in the middle of putting together Leonard Bernstein’s Kaddish. Merle’s song could not have come at a better time, and of course I shared with the entire chorus. I mean we just worked on 12 tone rows last week, lol! Brilliant! (Especially the banjo solo) Well done!

  • So fun and funny. What a talented group!

  • We

  • Well, that was just great for us who gosh darn it miss that high modernism. Schoenberg wasn’t really my jam. Stravinsky was more like it but gimme some a that Jackson Pollock. Oh for the days when Donald Judd could be seen with nary a thought a sociopolitical context.

  • Omigod, MERLE. You had me and the hubs howling with laughter. Well done, you, especially the John Cage break.

  • This was so good! My Sunday just started out even better. Thank you!

  • OMG!!! Cracked me up!! I just LOVE this blog – always something great going on!

  • Merle is hilarious. Well done!

  • That was awesome! Now I really want to hear the one about how hyperinflation in the Weimar Republic lead to the rise of fascism. Sounds like a winner to me.

  • Absolutely loved it and I think my dog was tapping her paw !

  • This is simply amazing! A fun way to get my Sunday moving. Thank you for sharing! XO

  • You made my day – spent a 30-year career trying to explain economics to non-economist policy makers. Bless you, Merle Hazard.

  • Hahaha!! Totally awesome!!

  • How fun!

  • So good to see Merle again! Laughed out loud and loved this. Merle, you’re just downright aw-vawnt gard-e.

    • PS: Some awesome musicians too. Wow Alison!

  • Funny! I shared the link on FB.

  • Loved it!

  • It’s so beautiful!

    Is 10 listens too many?

Would it be wrong to know all the words?

  • My personal music choice to knit to, would be anything by Yanni. He is one of my favorite performers.

  • So awesome!!

  • That is a treat!

  • That was awesome! I had my husband watch it after I did.

  • That is awesome! And the musicians are pretty darn good, even when atonal. Thanks for the smiles!

  • This made my day!

I’m going to play it for my husband when he gets home (he LOVES Philip Glass, so. yeah).
