Hello again friends,
In case you’ve been away, this weekend we are celebrating the life of Kathreen Ricketson, founder of Whip Up and friend to many, and mourning her tragic death in a swimming accident that also took the life of her husband, Rob Shugg. It’s our hope that out of our grief comes some solid financial support for their two young children. It’s not much, but it’s something, and it feels good to do something.
Ann and I have both posted our favorite Whip Up posts below, and we urge you to do the same, on your blog or preferred form of social media, even the ones that I have decided I’m too old for. Tumble it, or whatever it is you do over on Tumblr. If you let us know about your post, we’ll add it to this beautiful list, which will help others find these memories of Kathreen.

Have a wonderful weekend, people. Make something, and get out in nature with your loved ones. I’ve got a date with a yappy terrier, who’s got a date with a squirrel.
