  • I’m terribly amused by this. I wonder if maybe she’ll ever make pieces on a larger scale, like maybe a fair isle gnu.

  • Her work is incredible. The attention to detail and use of materials is amazing.

  • Well, I misread the price at first. Foolishly I thought it was $60.00! Now I see that it’s much bigger in real life than it appears. Definitely a specialty item :-).

  • Sheer genius.

  • Holy Smokes! That is really cool and exactly the kind of taxidermy I could have hanging on my wall. Gorgeous.

  • Hmmm. I bet any of us knitters could do that, although that would be stealing. Really cool — what an imagination! (And I just spent half an hour down the rabbit hole that is Etsy, checking out Rachel’s favorites — there are some very talented people out there!)

  • I think you’re going to knock out her server. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Am I the only one who finds that a little weird?

  • Wow! Thanks for the link! That was cool and fun!

  • Ummmm…wow! I find this fascinating, yet a bit disturbing. Definitiely a talented and imaginative knitter though.

  • So cool.
    I want it!

  • I’d love to see what she’d do with the kill after a Fair Isle hunt.

  • Sure beats the real thing that DH wants to put on the wall in our home! At least the knitted one doesn’t have eyes that follow you everywhere when you walk around the room! What an imagination Rachel has!

  • UN-BEE-LEEV-ABLE!

  • UN-BEE-LEEV-ABLE!

  • Wow. Just…wow.

  • oh my goodness! I was very taken by surprise…christine

  • Uhhhhm, that’s interesting. With only one in stock I wonder if she’ll take back-orders?

  • Brilliant! But, I’m guessing the yarnison is a little dry?
This would be the single best decoration in my dream knitting den!

  • I think she would look fantastic situated right between the 2 Pope and Young Bucks I have on my wall. ๐Ÿ˜€

  • I want the pattern..

  • Wow! That gonna make the new book?

  • I’d comment but I am…speechless…and busy sending this to some of the muggles I know…

  • Knitters never cease to amaze me. Sincerely – knitters think up things I would never even have fathomed.
Also, since I can’t comment in the found items, I must say I love that rendition of the Taro Blanket. And I am thrilled to know that there is a Mason Dixon Knitters Facebook group.

  • The link to the etsy website is broken. Too bad for everyone…from the website of the artist, looks like it would’ve been interesting. Does anyone ever check these links???

  • Actually if you link through from her name, you can click on her portfolio and see all her crafty critters… There is even the irony that is an angora bunny.
    happy looking!
