  • Ann, you readers may wonder why your Dad is suddenly taken with a knitting blog. I do too.
You mentioned the Mexican party, what do Mexicans knit these days?Love Dad

  • Dear Ann’s Dad, I hope you really are taken with our blog, and not just being Dutiful Dad (that would be way beyond the call of Dadly duty). It is really thrilling when we get a non-knitter tuning into our knitting-centered wave. We also crave male companionship (on our blog!! we have delightful male companionship, i.e., Hubbo and Hubby, respectfully, in non-blog life!!), and so far it’s just you and Brother-in-Law in terms of commenting male readers. We hold out very little hope of there being non-commenting male lurkers out there. Thanks for stopping by. Say hi to our friends over at the Tbilisi Sock Blog. Love, Kay
P.S. Would I be very far off base if I had a mental picture of you as Fred MacMurray? Has Ann ever knit you anything? If so, make her take a picture of you in it.

  • Kay–I think Dad thinks that email is like a telegram.
